Job Title:  Telesales Account Manager

Location:  Woolwich, SE28 0FN

Salary:  £20-22,000 depending on experience + bonus structure

Hours:  40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis

Holidays:  20 days + 8 Bank/Public Holiday

The role of a Telesales Account Manager within Henson Foods involves a great mix of account management, customer services and telesales.  Working closely to support the Business Development Manager to ensure sales targets are achieved, the Telesales Account Manager will be in regular contact with our client base to help maintain and grow our existing accounts.

In addition to working closely with our current client base, the Telesales Account Manager will be responsible for identifying potential new clients and arranging site meetings for the Business Development Manager. Additional duties will include order processing and therefore accurate data entry and Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Ideally candidates applying for this role should have previous sales/customer service experience, preferably within foodservice (meat and butchery experience is preferable but not essential).

• You should be personable with a proven ability to work in a targeted sales environment.

• You will need to be highly organised with effective time management skills

• Have the ability to prioritise an often heavy workload

• You will also need to be proficient in Word/Outlook/Excel with excellent typing skills to facilitate prompt and accurate data entry

• You will be able to demonstrate assured and professional communication, both written and verbal. Much of your work will be telephone based, so you must be adept in the art of conversation and inspire our client’s confidence in you.

• You will have sales experience, preferably within foodservice but this is not an essential requirement. We aim to develop all our employees’ potential, therefore, all new starters are inducted into our Sales Academy with ongoing learning and support.

• You should be driven and motivated by targets with the personal resilience to work well under pressure.

• Accountability – ensuring effective communication at all times with our clients.

• Handling complaints, finding solutions where and when required, ensuring excellent management of accounts.

Location: London, SE28 0FN

Salary: £10.50 per hour plus bonus

Hours: 40 hours per week with variable start times between 4am and 6am, covering a 45 hour week Monday-Friday (every alternate Saturday)

Holidays: 28 days holiday, inclusive of Bank Holidays

The ideal candidate will possess a good general geographical knowledge of the UK, be an excellent time keeper, be smart and conscientious and be smart in appearance and professional in manner.

Job Title:      Warehouse Assistant

Location:      London, SE28 0FN

Salary:           £8.50 per hour

Hours:           7am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Alternate Saturdays are also required and payed as overtime

Holidays:      28 days holiday, inclusive of Bank Holidays

The Role:
Working in a close knit team and reporting directly to the Day Shift Manager, the role of Warehouse Assistant within Henson Foods Ltd entails the assembling of customer orders through picking, weighing and packing of products. Previous experience of warehouse stock handling, particularly in a chilled/freezer environment, would be advantageous but is not essential for success in the role.

The successful candidate will also be required to assist in the loading and unloading of both goods inwards and outwards. As such, a forklift licence would be beneficial for success in the role, but is not an essential requirement.
Good verbal and written use of the English language is critical to enable the candidate to complete stock control and traceability reports, as well as to enable correct product identification.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be able physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties, such as the lifting, packing, carrying and stacking of goods. Successful candidates must understand that although PPE is provided, a portion of your day will be spent inside the freezer, managing stock directly and so being in cold conditions must not affect any existing medical conditions.

 Job Title:      Warehouse Cleaner

Location:      London, SE28 0FN

Salary:           £7.50 per hour

Hours:           8am to 5pm – Monday to Friday and 5am-9am every alternate Saturday

Holidays:      28 days holiday, inclusive of Bank Holidays

The Role:
Working in a close knit team and reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the role of Warehouse Cleaner within Henson Foods Ltd entails the clearing of site waste generated by the night shift and preparing recycling waste. Additional duties include:

  • Breaking down used cardboard boxes to feed into a machine that compacts the card into blocks.
  • Separating used pallets for collection.
  • Separating and cleaning material into recyclable waste.
  • Wash down and sanitising the factory as per a daily/weekly schedule that covers the entire production facility.
  • Clearing smoking area of cigarette butts.
  • Order factory cleaning chemicals.
  • Be responsible in the handling and storage of chemicals.

Due to the nature of the role, frequent heavy lifting may be required. Previous experience of warehouse cleaning, particularly in a food-service environment, would be advantageous but is not essential for success in the role. Basic written and verbal use of the English language is an essential requirement to successfully complete cleaning records.
