Founded in Smithfield Market, Hensons is an expert catering butcher. We source good quality meat and poultry from trusted, audited suppliers and our highly-skilled butchers take exceptional care of it from preparation through to storage and delivery.
The majority of our meat is from the British Isles, complemented with South American steakhouse beef, New Zealand Lamb, and bacon from Holland and Denmark. Our Angus beef is from Aberdeen Angus and Angus Cross herds in Scotland. We offer a wide range of freshly-made traditional sausages, hot dog sausages, and prepared ribs. The excellent provenance of our meat is backed up with full traceability.
Hensons dedicated butchery specialises in precision trimming to provide customers with consistent cuts for portion control, ease of preparation and cooking. Our service is bespoke with specifications computerised for efficiency and our clients include top hotels, event caterers and both formal and casual restaurants.
Hensons is EU and BRC certified and a dedicated technical department ensures that HACCP procedures are followed to the highest standards. We maintain full traceability records for our meat and carry out regular microbiological testing.
