Ciao bella! Formaggio italiano!


The King of Italian cheese is Parmigiano Reggiano. That rich intensity of flavour marks it out as a truly remarkable cheese. Closely related is Gran Padano, available in 1kg and 2kg wedges, as well as grated and shaved.

The Queen of Italian cheese must be buffalo mozzarella – so light you think it might float away, and so creamy that you want it to linger in the mouth forever, even as it melts on the tongue. Mozzarella comes in many different forms, and is super versatile. It comes into its own in Spring and Summer, especially mini mozzarella balls (boconcini) in salads.

Pizza makers need the best quality grated cheese, and we have pure grated mozzarella and mozzarella / cheddar mixes that our just the job.
