Thank you to everyone who visited us at the Casual Dining Show. It was great to meet so many customers and see old friends, as well as to make new acquaintances. We will be following up on all our leads in the coming days.
Our little pots of salt beef and gherkin went down very well on our stand, and we were delighted that Liam Keating, head chef of Jack’s Restaurant in the Business Design Centre featured salt beef on his menu on both days.
On day one salt beef was presented on a bed of soft mashed potatoes with juliennes of al-dente vegetables and a delicious jus. On day two a traditional bagel was filled with generous sliced of salt beef, served with a bean salad and a mild horseradish relish.
Visitors to Lamb Weston’s pop-up restaurant were treated to their brand new Connoisseur range, served with Hensons gourmet Aberdeen Angus cocktail burgers in mini brioche buns. We are delighted to have been chosen to help launch these new, superior fries which went down a storm at the show and are, of course, the perfect accompaniment to our fresh gourmet burgers.
