At Henson’s development kitchen we are always searching for ways of improving our gourmet burgers, even though we are already very proud of them. A recent favourite is our Special Burger – fresh British beef, double ground, a hint of special seasoning salt and a secret ingredient that means we can reduce the fat content without losing any succulence.
We offer chefs and caterers a range of gourmet burgers, up to six days a week, in a range of sizes and shapes, from 1 oz to 12 oz. All the beef and lamb is British, from quality assured sources, including Aberdeen Angus beef from farms in Aberdeenshire. We make beef and lamb burgers from certified halal meat which are made to order and can be supplied either fresh or frozen.
For chefs who serve their own home-made burgers our premium beef is available ready minced – double-minced if preferred, in quantities from 1kg upwards,
To serve along side our burgers we have a range of over 30 different types of chip – all Grade A, from top suppliers Lamb Weston and McCain. On-trend sweet potato fries and skin-on handcuts are the ideal second fry for your menu, and we have gherkins, onion rings, special cheeses for burgers and streaky bacon – everything you need for your burger menu, under one roof.
For bar snacks and function catering we make burgers in cocktail and mini versions (28g and 43g) with mini burger buns available to match. Sliders have never been as popular, and for something slightly different, try offering two mini burgers alongside a salt beef slider. It is a great way of introducing salt beef to those who might not have tried it in the past.
